Our beehives are placed on local farmer's fields to gather nectar from the natural environment. The floral content of our honey is a mixture of local crops, wildflowers and blossoms which changes along with the weather and seasonal conditions. Our bees produce honey during the summer months, which we extract during July and August each year. We ensure that our honey is at its optimal level to pail up for your enjoyment. We strive to provide a consistent product year after year. Our honey is unpasteurized, straight from the hive, processed by our family and carefully put into containers to be sold at our own on farm store.
At Kemp Honey we are proud Canadian beekeepers , who are dedicated members of The Alberta Honey Producers Co-Operative and Beemaid, for 25+ years. Beemaid Honey can be found at many commercial Canadian retailers.
Bee Products
Our bees produce and collect a variety of products. During the spring and summer months our bees collect pollen from local flowers. Tree resin is also collected by the worker bees to produce propolis. Propolis is an effective natural antibacterial that contains tree resin. Bees also produce beeswax, which we melt and hand pour. All of bee products from our apiary are used within our natural body care product line. We take the time to harvest these products, select and handcraft quality products.
